VENMO HOLIDAY CAMPAIGN

I spent the latter part of 2023 at Buck, developing a first-ever holiday campaign for Venmo. They needed a campaign to remind everybody that Venmo is the perfect place to get holiday gifts for those hard-to-shop-for people in your life with varied tastes and interests. The campaign ran on all social channels throughout the 4th quarter of the year. Lily Chapell, head of brand at Venmo, was our amazing client, and hung with us on set for the duration.

I worked with a great team of designers, animators, producers, directors and editors. I concepted, pitched, wrote, and creative directed a total of 4 spots that we executed in motion and stills, in all formats and aspect ratios. I was also music supervisor, working with Sounds Delicious, who delivered three great, original tracks for us.

Justin Bettman was our director on the shoot for the 4 spots. We had used Justin’s amazing photography in our pitch, so I was thrilled that he was available to direct. Line Producer Kyle McGuiness did an incredible job building 3 stages in day, and getting 4 spots shot in a single day. Buck creative Arielle Casale was our ace in the hole Art Director, bringing our boards to life with Production Designer, Aurelie Tailefer. Viktoriya Tsoy was our kick ass lead designer. Buck staffer Brooke Kessler was my co-writer and really helped deliver the extensive copy demands of a social campaign. Buck Editor Cameron Kelly worked with his team to stabilize our shots. Fernanda Garcia Lopez and Flo Fusco were our star producers and kept us all on schedule and on budget.
