This live version of Prince and Chaka Khan doing “Sweet Thing” is all you should need to know to want to download this mix. I used to attend a lot of Prince’s after-hours, after-show parties in the 90s. One particular time around 1998, he happened to choose the club I DJ’d at to do his thing. He didn’t go on til 6 in the morning. He had Sly & The Family Stone‘s horn section, Larry Graham on bass, Doug E Fresh on the mic, and Miss Chaka Khan on vocals. It was fucking DOPE.
